Abstract

Pulmonary embolism is a potential lethal disease askingfor good training of medical doctor, in recognizing and treatingthe case in the first hours of the event. The morbidity andmortality is high and virtually all the doctors are involved inpatients’ care and each one has the duty to discover patientswith risk of embolism, particularly obstetrical risk ofembolism: fat emboli, gas emboli, amniotic emboli.
