JMB is a multidisciplinary medical journal that publishes original research papers and case presentations. With a quarterly publication, up to the year 2005, the journal presents the latest results in medical research, focusing on integrated, interdisciplinary approaches in the field of medicine, ethics, and the history of medicine. The aim of the journal is to promote excellence and is open to research groups around the world. JMB offers open access since 2010 and since 2011 has a bi-annual publication (ISSN electronic). The journal has an international scientific council and publishes articles after being reviewed in a single-blind peer-review system.
