Abstract

The very large group of streptococci is of great medicalimportance, some of the species being part of microbiocenosiswhile others are responsible of infection. In the era before theantibiotics, the streptococci were among the most importantinfectious agents, being responsible for a significant mortality.The present paper tries to evaluate the sensitivity of differenttypes of streptococci to a number of antibiotics.
