Abstract

The ankle is one of the areas which is frequently injuredand radiological examination is essential for detection andevaluation the complex injuries. In this context, the radiologistand the orthopedist must know well the normal aspects ofankle. Ankle’s imagistic examinations, from simple tocomplex, are: standard radiography, echography of soft tissue,CT, IRM. In practice, imagistic examination, starts from simpleradiography, to complex examination – IRM, in unconcludentcases.
