Abstract

Cigarette smoking appears as the single biggest avoidable cause of death and disability. Making an investigation of 100 smoking persons we have tried to show particularities depending on sex, age, education level, level of addiction, the smoking motivation and also to evaluate the disposition of the smoker to give up smoking. Supervising the particularities of this habit of every patient makes the elaboration of an advisory plan possible, and also makes possible to determine the suitable method of smoking cessation or/and the successful behavioural therapy.
