Doctorul Ioan Teleianu – promotor și organizator al învățământului medical postuniversitar

Abstract

Coming from a modest family of poor peasants from the village Brăneşti-Brebeni, Gorj county, born on April 7, 1929, Doctor Ioan Teleianu had a remarkable evolution, becoming a reference personality of the Romanian postgraduate medical education in the 2nd half the 20th century. He disappeared prematurely in 2007. In his paper, the author broadly addresses the meanings of his activities, lasting in the memory in his contemporaries.
