Abstract

Transylvanian by origin and tenacious in his creed put into the service of those suffering of malignant diseases, an inventive spirit with a firm faith in scientific knowledge, Professor Doctor Ioan Mogos, head of department for many years and caryatid in the “Professor Doctor Alexandru Trestioreanu” Institute of Oncology from Bucharest – his medical trajectory and academic titles obtained confirmed the full amount of his prestige. The paper presents synthetically, but significantly, the complexity of his famous personality.
