Abstract

In the XVIIIth Century several manuscripts with medical content were written on demand of rich families for the benefit of their families. I assume that the writer had medical knowledge because he used foreign medical sources. For exemplification, I proceeded at the transcription for the first time from the Chirilic into Latin alphabet (interpretation provided), of two Romanian Manuscripts: Mss. No. 933, containing anatomic, physiologic, and semiologic information (partially) and Mss. No. 1171, containing receipts (in integrum). These manuscripts are real proof of the fact that Romanians used the medical knowledge belonging to the second half of the XVIIIth Century.
