Cărți rare din biblioteca UMF “Carol Davila”

Abstract

The library of the Medicine Faculty “Carol Davila” from Bucharest had less than 1000 books in 1884. In 1890, the first library catalogue was printed. It had 4726 books. In 1907, the dean of the faculty, Toma Ionescu, established the reading room. In this paper, I will present the special books from the library. From different sources we know that some of them are from different European countries but also from Romanian collections.
