Abstract

The idea that guided us was to identify the key stages that went through medicine in our country for studying the aging process and old age like a complex phenomena: biological, biomedical, psychological and socio-cultural. The results of this research were an anthology of texts covering the period of more than one hundred years, which will be published in the Romanian history of medicine collection, initiated and coordinated by Publisher House Dominor in Bucharest.
