Abstract
We present a clinical case, particularly through the severe clinical evolution of rheumatoid poliarthritis to severe obstructive respiratory failure, requiring an intervention of tracheostomy of necessity. The obstruction of the superior airways represents an entity with a vital risk, which should be correctly recognized and evaluated, both by the ENT specialist and by doctors of other specialities.Published
