Mecanismele persistenţei virale şi cronicizării în infecţia cu virus hepatitic C
Abstract
Acute hepatitis C is easy to change chronic. The reaction of humoral immunity and cell immunity with hepatitis C virus and a mechanism of changing to chronic are described. At first, gene structure and super variable region of the hepatitis C virus are described. Next, with regard to the humoral immunity for hepatitis C virus, mutation of the super variable region and the formation of persistent infection are described. In addition, with regard to the cell-mediated immunity, virus elimination by CD4+ T cell and CD8+ T cell and hepatocite injury are explained. Hepatitis C virus circulates as a mixture of different but closely related genomes: this quasispecies nature could be essential for virus persistence and could induce resistance to interferon therapy.Published
