Abstract

By the end of the foetal life, the arterial vascularization of the cerebral paleo-cortex is characterized by the obvious prominence of the deep circulation. The zone/area of distribution of the central arteries comprises the septal nuclei, the tonsillar body, the group of neuroblasts migrating from the lateral wall of the temporal horn of the lateral ventricle, and is expanding close to the cerebellar cortex. Within the superficial network of arteries, incompletely differentiated, relatively large anatomies can be noticed among the branches.
