Aspecte epidemiologice în formele severe de hepatită acută virală | [Epidemiological aspects of the severe forms in acute viral hepatitis]

Abstract

This is a retrospective study about some epidemiological aspects of the severe forms of acute viral hepatitis, admitted to Infectious Diseases Hospital from Braşov during 1999 – 2003. The frequency of the severe forms was 1.68% cases, 1,25% for A etiology and 3,5% for B etiology, 2.07% men and 1.23% women, 1.02% children, and 2.39% adults.
