Abstract

We often have to manage with the rising complexity of traumathology în children. Pediatric orthopedic specialists are trying to elect the most specific way of treatment, which assures the highest comfort to the hospitalized patient, a short time immobilization, and a fast recovery after surgery, structural and functional. The present study emphasizes the elastic internal fixation method with intramedullary rods and the experience of the Surgery and Orthopedical Department from Brasov Clinical Children’s Hospital, over 76 cases in the last 5 years.
