Screeningul cancerului colo-rectal în funcție de stratificarea riscului individual | [Screening of the colo-rectal cancer according to individual risk factors]

Abstract

The colo-rectal cancer is the second most frequent cancer, after the lung cancer and is being responsible for more than 50.000 deaths annually in US only, and this is the reason why is so important to have an early detection of the disease, that will allow a more efficient treatment. The present paper is a review of the screening investigations as required by the American Cancer Society and the American Gastroenterology Association. These investigations have to be performed according to the risk factors that one patient may have.
