Eficienţa tratamentului antioxidant în prevenirea traumei sonore cronice profesionale

Abstract

The analysis of the efficacy of antioxidant treatment in acoustic trauma was performed by prospective methods. The control group was compared, using statistical analysis, to two study groups, one receiving usual antioxidants (vitamin A, C, E, Selenium) and the second, alpha-lipoic acid. The results showed a light protection offered by the first combination of antioxidants, compared to a statistically more significant efficacy of lipoic acid in the prevention of acoustic trauma.
