Hemosideroza pulmonară idiopatică

Abstract

Idiopathic pulmonary haemosiderosis is a rare cause of alveolar haemorrhage of unknown origin. It appears frequently in childhood and the evolution under treatment is frequently deleterious. At optical microscopy is characterised by the presence of alveolar haemosiderin stocks, the absence of other lesions (inflammatory, vasculitis, Ig stocks). The corticotherapy is a therapeutic solution, but a spontan favourable outcome is also possible.
