Anterior cerebral artery (ACA) is the medial branch of the internal carotid artery. Its proximal segment takes part of the Willis Circle. The length of ACA is 15 mm (10-20 mm) and its diameter varies between 0.1-3 mm. Perforant branches of ACA are taken part from 2 groups. This paper is a review of the main anatomical data of ACA, its variations, and clinical implications.Published
