A young man is hospitalized under the suspicion of a cerebral tumour. After a CT examination, the diagnosis of a cerebral tumour is maintained. The next day he is subjected to a MRI investigation, which shows that the formation could be encephalitis. The patient is given treatment and after two months another MRI is performed. This examination revealed that the formation went into remission and that it was not a tumour, but indeed, viral encephalitis.Published
