Would there be a new influenza pandemic? This was the question for many researchers a few years ago. The answer came: no doubt that there will be other influenza pandemics in the future.” Is influenza pandemic a threat for global health? This is a difficult question to answer. Maybe things are not so challenging: we just have to consult the medical sites for researching the current epidemiological data status. This article intends to outline the chronological facts regarding the outcome of the 2009 influenza A H1N1 pandemic. The speculations should be left behind, for those who don’t believe in medical evidences or maybe for those who want to influence the public opinion.
