Abstract

Superior airways tract and sleep pathology is present in ENT practice such as obstructive sleep apnoea in association with obstructive nasal syndrome. The diagnostic and treatment approaching is a difficult problem of the ENT doctor in daily practice, The purpose of this study is to reevaluate to reassess the proper place of this type of pathology within medical and surgical practice having review the latest progresses in this respect, in order to make it clear by understanding the real producing mechanism, the aspects of etiopatogenia for a right and unitary treatment of these diseases.
