Terapia fibrozei hepatice
Keywords:
stellate cell, hepatic fibrosis, antifibrotic therapyAbstract
Stellate cell activation is the central event in hepatic fibrosis. Increased matrix production is the most direct way that stellate cell activation generates hepatic fibrosis. The rate of progression of fibrosis in an individual patient with chronic liver disease cannot be predicted with certainty. Antifibrotic therapy for chronic liver disease is an emerging reality, although no agents are yet approved for this indication.Published
