Abstract

The antero-lateral abdominal wall is a real mosaic from its origin point of view. The muscles are developing from the mesenchyme brought by the cranial, the caudal and the two lateral folds. The nerves are derived from ectoderm. Some of these structures are developing quicker and they will act as inductor factors modeling the dynamics of other elements.
