Abstract

The endometrial cancer continues to represent an important problem of menopause women’s health. It is the first cause of morbidity among genital cancer in the USA and the second genital cancer in Romania after cervical cancer. The article presents the results of a retrospective study developed over three years (01.01.2006 – 31.12.2008) on the patients diagnosed with endometrial cancer following the specific parameters as incidence, environmental distribution (town/country), age, parity, co-morbidity, dominant symptoms, therapeutic procedures, staging, major intra surgical complications and association of specific oncology treatment.
