Analiza semnelor clinice de afectare cardiovasculară în tireotoxicoza

Abstract

The heart is one of the most involved organs implicated in thyroid disease. The cardiovascular involvement regarding thyrotoxicosis is raising the death rate of these patients. Starting from this data we accomplished a retrospective study on 55 patients interned during 2007 year at the District Clinical Emergency Hospital of Brasov, Romania, where we followed the frequency of thyrotoxicosis medical cases and the frequency of cardiothyreosis appearance, the type and the rhythm disorders incidences, as well as their association with other cardiovascular risk factors.
