Abstract

Surgery is the main phase of the treatment of liver hydatid cysts. The procedure used in the surgical treatment of hydatid cyst liver residual cavity is chosen depending on the location of the remaining cavity, its size, and especially its complications (biliary fistula, rupture of the cyst, etc. The surgeon has the obligation to choose the method that has the lowest risk for patients and leads to rapid and complete healing.
