Abstract

This paper’s purpose is the study of the internal carotid artery, in order to provide all those interested- especially surgeons with the latest findings. We have based on well-known and accepted facts in order to make a comparison between old and new, both of which are scientific truths. What our study has revealed about the origin, path, and mode of termination of the internal carotid artery are additions to a vast field of knowledge.
