Abstract

Tuberculosis is a contagious disease that has an endemic evolution and high mortality and has numerous important social consequences. We present the case of a 13-year-old female patient who was referred to the pediatrics ward of the Stejeriş hospital from Braşov and she presented with respiratory symptoms. The patient has numerous tuberculosis foci in her own family which is one with low income, illegal activities such as prostitution and the patient did not respect her tuberculosis prophylaxis therapy which was abandoned against medical advice.
