Abstract

Induction chemotherapy for Head and Neck cancer has been controversial ever since its very beginning. It is believed nowadays that in addition to standard PF schema (paclitaxel with 5-FU), there is a need for taxes in order to achieve a better therapy response on tumor control. In this study, we tried to summarize the advantages and defects of such induction chemotherapy-related in oncological research since the middle 80s till the current time reflecting treatment of Head and Neck cancer.
