Abstract

Cerebrovascular disease is a leading cause of death worldwide. Stroke, ischemic or hemorrhagic, is accompanied by changes in all body systems. Among these, literature is described neurogenic heart disease. This represents all cardiovascular consequences arising in the context of acute brain pathologies. It includes: variations in blood pressure, left ventricular dysfunction, arrhythmias, and sudden cardiac death.
