Abstract

Currently, burnout syndrome is considered to be one of the most significant problems caused by stress at work. In the multidimensional theory, it is viewed as a consequence of specific work and generates negative consequences both at the individual level (personal and professional) and at the institutional and social one. Burnout is a problem that must be prevented and is more difficult to remove it. In this regard, it should be identified the initial professional, environmental, and organizational stressing factors, and at the same time, it should seek complex strategies for prevention and subsequently, apply appropriate intervention programs to increase the effectiveness of the strategies in order to reach an appropriate adaptation of the burnout syndrome subjects.
