Abstract

Nowadays, competitiveness is vital for the survival of an area, a company, etc. The development of a tourist destination does not take into account only the competitive advantage, but also the way it is sustained. In the context of joining the European Union, cities can improve their image by attracting European funds. Brasov County is an example of attracting these types of funds in order to enhance its competitiveness.
