The role of international internships conducted during academic studies in development of entrepreneurial skills

Abstract

This study presents the results of a qualitative marketing research conducted among students participating in intensive international practice internships organized in a SOPHRD project. Research objectives are focused on obtaining information on the extent to which participants from these internships have assimilated entrepreneurial skills necessary for employment job skills, adapting to a job, comparing individual professional targets with the real situation on labor market, development of the capacity to decide and act appropriately in relation to his own career, but also familiarity with European requirements of a prospective employer to ensure the prerequisites for participating in future university graduates on a modern and dynamic labor market.
