Abstract

Manifesting as one of the most important innovators in the domain of the sonorous effects, George Enescu brought his major contribution to the musical semiography. The value of Enescu’s semiography can be rendered in a pentagonal perimeter: the variety of the noting, the detail of the noting, the universality of the noting, the innovation of the noting, as well as the creative participation of the interpreter in the rendering of the musical text.
