The Ensurance of Social Protection in Romania

Abstract

The paper particularly analyses two social categories of citizens that may benefit from the right to social habitation: disabled persons and persons evicted from claimed buildings that were illegally taken over by the state from the 9th of March 1945 to the 22nd of December 1989. Unfortunately, the more claimed buildings have been given back to former owners according to Law No.10/2001, the more former tenants claim their right to a social habitation.
