Abstract

This paper focuses on issues of transcribing and coding the data in an interview with a participant in a study on vocabulary learning strategies. It presents a stage of a larger exploratory study investigating the vocabulary learning strategies of Romanian English major and minor undergraduates at the University of Brasov resulted in both confirming and altering existing learning strategy taxonomies.
