MDF Veneering Optimization

Abstract

The paper analyses the factors that influence the quality of the veneers gluing upon the MDF board. Considering the gluing shearing strength as the main criterion of the gluing quality assessment, a research methodology was elaborated and some experimental research tests were performed. The paper also presents an objective equation that allows the influence quantification upon the gluing strength of each one of the influencing factors and their entire interaction as well.
