Milling of Profiled Wooden Surfaces - Quality of Processed Surfaces

Abstract

The paper aims at analyzing the surface quality of three processed wooden species: beech, maple, and oak wood. The profiled parts were processed through the milling operation, as the last operation of the production process. The samples were compared from the surface quality point of view after having been processed thus reaching certain conclusions about the actions to be taken in order to obtain a better quality of the processed profiled surfaces through milling operation.
