Abstract

In this paper, the distribution, ecology, and cenotic relations of some thermophilous forest species (Sedum cepaea, Potentilla micrantha, Silene viridiflora and Aremonia agrimonoides) that live in the upper basin of Olt River, in sessile oak forests are presented. These populations are often isolated from the main area of the species and grow in a different environment, therefore contributing to the species' genetic diversity.
