International criminal law has played a pivotal role in addressing atrocities, yet it has often failed to fully confront systemic discrimination against marginalized groups. The legacy of the Nuremberg Trials - widely recognized as the foundation for modern international justice - offers a striking example. Although the Roma were among those persecuted by the Nazi regime through internment, forced sterilization, and extermination, their suffering was notably absent from the indictments and legal narratives produced by the Tribunal.Downloads
