Abstract

In the current paper we will approach the foreign debt and public foreign debt concepts and we will analyze their evolution as well as the evolution of the associated measures in the last few years in Romania. The Romanian external loans have known an accelerated growth, as a result of the imperious need for funds implied by the development projects. The selection of the financing sources, as well as of their structure is realized having in mind, among other things, the established objectives and the medium and long term reimbursement capacity of the debtor country.
