Abstract

Tourism is not a universal cure in solving all development problems and not all areas are suitable to beginning such an activity. Only a rigorous evaluation, keeping in mind the supply, the demand, the competition and the market tendencies, will allow for the conclusion that a territory has tourist potential that justifies the investments in the field.
