The Influence of Online Booking Platforms on Travel Decision-Making

The purpose of this study is to identify the fundamental reasons why and how tourists are influenced by online booking platforms. Through a mixed approach, which includes qualitative research and a comparative analysis, we found that online reviews and accessibility of booking platforms are essential reasons in the process of their selection. Also, based on the results obtained, we evaluated the accessibility of the websites, highlighting that, according to tourists' preferences, Booking represents the platform with the fewest common errors, according to the analysis carried out using the QualWeb tool.Downloads
