Abstract

The paper presents a case study taken by AILOG, Italian Association of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, on 43 middle and large companies based in Italy who outsource in 13 emerging economies. The results emphasize the advantages and constraints that globalization brings into the resource management of companies involved.
