Market Research Regarding the Predeal Citizen’s Opinions, Attitudes and Behavior Towards Selective Garbage Collecting Issue in the Context of Meeting the Standards of European Union

As a result of the integration in the European Union, the issue of selective garbage collecting constitutes an important growing preoccupation for Romanian authorities. For a successful implementation of a selective garbage collecting system in Predeal resort-city – implementation which will be realized through an European Union co-financed project – it is required an understanding of the degree of Predeal citizens availability to participate in this project, the way in which present waste management situation is praised, the ways they wish to be informed as well as the ways to act in the future. This work presents the methodology and results of a marketing research, using quantitative methods through which are measured citizen's opinions, attitudes and behavior regarding selective garbage collecting issue in the context of alignment to European Union standards.Published
