China vs world: opportunity or threat?

Abstract

This paper is aimed at analyzing some key issues posed by China’s economic rise. First, we examine what are the opportunities and threats of Chinese evolution in the present and recent future. Then, we address the question of what could Chinese government do in order to benefit from these opportunities and prevent imminent threats.
