Using the regression model in multivariate data analysis

Abstract

This paper is about instrumental research regarding the use of the Linear Regression Model for data analysis. The research uses a model based on real data and stresses the necessity of correct utilization of such models in order to obtain accurate information for decision-makers. The main scope is to help practitioners and researchers in their efforts to build prediction models based on linear regressions. The conclusion reveals the necessity to use quantitative data for a correct model specification and to validate the model according to the assumptions of the least squares method.
