Food Products Safety in European Union and Romania

In the economy of a country, the quality problems and food safety play an important role in people's health. In a market economy, the consumer has a dominant position. He is the reference element of all the actions made by producers and trades. After the “Mad cow” disease in Europe, an important part of the consumers lost their trust in the quality and the safety of food products. The present strategy of the EU is the regain the trust of the consumers from the member states, by adopting concrete legal actions.Published
