Abstract

The activity of outdoor education is a new alternative in the condition of man’s return in the post-industrial age to the authentic values of nature and free spirit. The new vision concerning this type of education defines it below psychosocial bearing, axiological, but also practical, as a way of unrolling. Our study outlines elements that atomize the whole idea, which involves principally ethical values as an expression of responsibility, respect, honesty, freedom, self-control, and courage in the interpersonal youth relations. The intellective values add to the classic ones a new valence of cognition and agreement in the authentic relation of man-nature. The values of health correlate more efficiently with the physical and psychic valence of outdoor education in attach with economic values of efficient work, substantial safety, rational use of environmental resources, but also the hedonic values of satisfaction, joy, and pleasure to explore a new natural and psychosocial environment. Conclusively, outdoor education and free spirit education atomize post-modernly the potentate find again of life with nature and society.
